Accountability. When people hold themselves and others accountable, change naturally occurs. It's not enough to want change -- as the old saying goes "You can wish in one hand and ____ in the other and see which one you get first." Wanting change is the "wish"; accountability is the "other....."
It creates responsibility and action. It's definitive. Great question and didn't hesitate on my answer.
Very good points Achilles' Mommy - you are so correct in that change naturally occurs when people hold themselves and others accountable! We must do more of this with our politicians. It would definitely be in OUR best interest! Thank you so much for reading and commenting.
